2 -3hr introduction to avalanche safety for snowmobilers, backcountry skiers, and snowboarders. Will be in person at Steamboat Lake Outpost



Join us for an exciting evening of learning about avalanche awareness and safety! This in-person event is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, backcountry adventurers, and anyone interested in exploring snowy terrains.


During this informative session, our experienced instructors will provide valuable insights into avalanche awareness, including understanding snowpack, recognizing avalanche terrain, and essential safety equipment. You'll also learn about the importance of decision-making skills and how to assess potential risks.


Time: 17:00:00 (Mountain Daylight Time) 1 hr of Beacon Practice (outside)Before Awareness Talk. Be prepared to be out side in the field next to parking lot in the snow if you coming for pratice.
